More news on Islam

July 19, 2007

Here is the latest entry – just for two days – from the excellent Just to remind everyone of what a peaceful and friendly religion Islam is, and how we can rely on ‘moderate’ Muslims to prevail over their more ‘excitable’ co-religionists.

7/18/07 ( Lamitan, Philippines ) – A Sunni missionary is dismembered by Abu Sayyaf militants on suspicion of spying.
7/18/07 ( Kizilyurt, Russia ) – Islamic separatists are suspected in the bombing of a school playground that kills four policemen.
7/18/07 ( Khost, Afghanistan ) – A suicide bomber blasts three Afghans to Allah.
7/18/07 ( Zabul, Afghanistan ) – Six Afghan police officers are murdered in a brutal ambush by religious extremists.
7/18/07 ( Miranshah, Pakistan ) – al-Qaeda backed militants ambush an army convoy with rockets, killing sixteen Pakistanis.
7/17/07 ( Khar Banda, Pakistan ) – A civilian is abducted and beheaded by the Taliban.

There is also some very interesting stuff in the ‘About Islam’ section on that site, explaining things like ‘why Muslims are allowed to lie to and deceive non-Muslims’, etc. Very interesting.

More wisdom from our Leader

July 12, 2007

The new PM, Mr. Brown has pre-empted the Queen’s Speech in a very rude and unconstitutional sort of way to announce some of the wonderful things he’s going to do for Britain. Two of his outstanding offerings are: (a) to force all young people to stay in school or training until the age of 18 and (b) to build even more ‘affordable housing’ in addition to the millions of new houses that have been ordained by New Labour already. If I could believe the former meant things like apprenticeships and work experience in the real world, it might be a good thing – but unfortunately, of course, it means nothing of the sort. It will just be another move of extreme idiocy, like aiming at 50% of youth going to university – an arbitrary act supposed in theory to improve opportunities, but in fact reducing them by lowering educational standards for everyone and giving them qualifications which are a complete waste of time and which no employer takes seriously. So the totally non-academic oafs who currently disrupt education for those pupils who might actually benefit will now be forced to go to further education colleges, etc, and ruin those too. What an incredibly stupid idea! Pure gesture politics, as usual – quite obviously what we should really be doing is letting the kids who aren’t interested in academic learning out of school as soon as possible, so they can do something practical and start earning a living and perhaps a bit of self-respect, leaving the brighter ones to benefit from a proper education. But that would be far too obvious for a New Labour politician, wouldn’t it.  And then the housing. Southern Britain is already disappearing under an ocean of concrete and shoddy building. We have some of the highest densities of population in the world. The answer? Build more housing, of course. Would it be too much for someone to stand up and point out that the reason we have too little housing and it is all too expensive is that there is not enough space and too many people already, and that encouraging hundreds of thousands more people to immigrate to Britain every year is making it worse! Of course, we could just go on letting people in and building more and more housing until there is no green space left. On the other hand WE COULD SIMPLY STOP MASS IMMIGRATION AND ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO LEAVE. The pressure of demand would immediately relax, house prices would go down and we wouldn’t even have to build half the extra housing already announced. We are a small country, and there is a limit to the number of people who can live here comfortably. We should aim at reducing the population, not increasing it! Oh – but of course you’re not allowed to say things like that, are you, because it’s ‘racist’. So come on, all you Iraqi terrorists, Somali gangsters, Latin American drug-smugglers and Russian mafiosi and the rest – come on over to the UK and join the merry throng. Our Prime Minister will provide housing for you all, and England’s green and pleasant land will be a complete shithole soon, like the rest of the Third World.

To be fair to Muslims in Britain, I acknowledge that there was – at long last – a demonstration in Scotland yesterday by Muslims protesting against extremism in the name of Islam. We need a lot more of these. Although I have to say there was an element of that slightly smug Scottish attitude that ‘of course we’re Scottish, not English, so that sort of nasty extremism has no place in our lovely, fluffy ‘multicultural’ Scottish society’, etc, etc. In fact the only reason there has been less trouble in Scotland is that Muslims and other minorities exist only in tiny numbers in that country – otherwise it is an overwhelmingly white Anglo-Celtic homogeneous society, and about as ‘mullticultural’ as my left foot! When we see big antio-terror demos in places like Birmingham and Bradford I might, just might, be a little re-assured.

In cae people doubt what I said in post (2), try reading this, by a reformed former Muslim extremist:

Here is a quote which pretty much sums up why I think Islam in Britain is a threat:

‘Formal Islamic theology, unlike Christian theology, does not allow for the separation of state and religion: they are considered to be one and the same.

For centuries, the reasoning of Islamic jurists has set down rules of interaction between Dar ul-Islam (the Land of Islam) and Dar ul-Kufr (the Land of Unbelief) to cover almost every matter of trade, peace and war.

But what radicals and extremists do is to take this two steps further. Their first step has been to argue that, since there is no pure Islamic state, the whole world must be Dar ul-Kufr (The Land of Unbelief).

Step two: since Islam must declare war on unbelief, they have declared war upon the whole world.

Along with many of my former peers, I was taught by Pakistani and British radical preachers that this reclassification of the globe as a Land of War (Dar ul-Harb) allows any Muslim to destroy the sanctity of the five rights that every human is granted under Islam: life, wealth, land, mind and belief.

In Dar ul-Harb, anything goes, including the treachery and cowardice of attacking civilians. ‘

People will say – ‘Oh, but these are just the attittudes of a few extremists’. But are they? How can we know? When large numbers of supposed ‘moderate’ Muslims seem to passively go along with these ideas, because they are described as ‘Islamic’, we are entitled to be suspicious.

Time to discriminate (2)

It has been stated that in my post ‘Time to Discriminate’ that I am arguing along the same lines as the National Front – ie., that I am a fascist and racist. I take this very seriously. It is untrue and based on a false understanding of what I am saying. Also a false apprehension of the English language. First of all, the word ‘discriminate’, which has now taken on an exclusively negative connotation in the hands of the ‘pc’-influenced brigade, actually means ‘to make an informed choice or decision’ about something. In this case I mean that in Britain we need to make a decision about whether allowing further large numbers of Muslims to settle in the country is good for our society or not. I think it isn’t, and that we need to be honest about this, and do something concrete before it is too late. Secondly, the parallel with 1930’s Germany and Nazi actions against German Jews is false; it is also completely typical of the standard left-wing. ‘pc’, ‘multicultural’ argument used to try to stifle debate on the subject – any attempt to point out the obvious fact that there is a problem with Muslims in Britain today is instantly branded as ‘Nazi’, so that it can then be condemned as evil and extremist and therefore to be ignored or preferably censored altogether. One of the main differences is that the vast majority of Jews in Germany were totally integrated and proud Germans – many had fought for Germany in the 1st World War; they were represented by the Nazis as undermining and attacking the country, which was completely untrue; whereas a large proportion of Muslims in contemporary Britain have arrived quite recently from very different societies, are not integrated and not even interested in being ‘British’ – in most cases their first loyalty is to Islam, their second to their family, thirdly to their ‘country of origin’ (frequently Pakistan) and lastly, if at all, to Britain; there is an undoubted widespread dislike of the British way of life, an open intention to replace British democracy with an ‘Islamic’ state and ‘Shariah’ law, and in some cases active and blatant attacks on Britain and its citizens. A very big difference, in fact.I have thought a lot about this, and far from being ‘ill-informed’, I have spent the last 6 years reading as much as I can about Islam, including the Koran and books by Muslim authors in an attempt to understand what is going on in the Muslim world. Also I have not stated that Muslims in our midst should be ‘excluded from our society’ – I have said that further large scale Muslim immigration should stop. The reason for this is simple – there is no doubt that most of the Muslims coming to this country are from Middle Eastern and African countries as well as Pakistan, all of which are embroiled in long-term violence and chaos (and no – that is not the fault of the USA and Britain – it is largely the fault of their own corrupt, brutal leaders) where the rule of law, respect for non-Muslims, women and other minorities is non-existent and tribal and inter-Muslim feuds are largely settled by violence; these countries are also largely the preserve of ‘traditional’ forms of Islam influenced by intolerant and backward thinking involving concepts such as ‘honour killings’, forced marriage, female circumcision and other horrors; again, many if not most of these countries are influenced by ‘hard-line’ and anti-Western forms of Islam such as Saudi-funded ‘Wah’habism’ which are hostile to western liberal democracy and openly aim to destroy it; lastly, as we have seen, there are apparently potentially large numbers of people in these countries who are prepared to come to Britain as immigrants and to work here and benefit from our society while at the same time planning to attack it and its values and even to try to kill and maim as many of its citizens as possible. In these circumstances, as it is clearly impossible to know which individuals from these countries are likely to live peaceably and accept and integrate with the British way of life, the only possible answer is to ban all immigration from these countries. I’m not saying I think this is actually going to happen – our government is far too weak and self-deluding to do that – I am simply saying that that is what I think ought to happen, and the only way to prevent more attacks of the kind there have been in the last two or three years. As a matter of fact I am against all large-scale immigration into the UK for the foreseeable future, both because I think our country is grossly overcrowded and because the uncontrolled entry of millions in the last 10 years or so plus the total lack of incentive to integration and the positive encouragement towards segregation through the idiotic doctrine of ‘multiculturalism’ has seriously damaged and divided our society and is threatening British identity, democratic values and tolerance and encouraging inter-racial conflict.

As for the Muslims already here – I accept that there are of course genuine ‘moderate’ Muslims who are against violence, but I would like to know where there are and why we are not hearing from them en masse, protesting in the streets, with banners saying ‘Not in our name’ and ‘We reject violence in the name of Islam’, etc, etc. There is a strange lack of any significant numbers – barring one or two brave individuals – prepared to publicly stand up and reject violence and extremism. And yet at the slightest hint of criticism of Islam or perceived ‘offence’, at a moment’s notice crowds of Muslims appear on the streets burning flags, calling for beheadings and all the rest. Even when the police take action to arrest suspected terrorists, the main reaction from Muslim ‘community leaders’ is to complain that they are being ‘victimised’. It’s all very well Muslims saying in private how horrified they are by terrorist attacks, if they are, but the overwhelming impression I and most British people get is that at best most ‘moderate’ Muslims are passively accepting of the ‘hijacking’ of their religion by extremists, and at worst that they actively support the extremist ideas while not actually personally participating – though they may well give to ‘charities’ who fund terrorists in the Middle East and elsewhere. While I believe there are moderate Muslims, I am sceptical of the existence of such as thing as ‘moderate Islam’. There was a very shocking Channel 4 documentary recently using undercover filming which showed beyond any question that extremist thinking, extremist teaching and literature and vile abuse about ‘kafirs’ and ‘Jews’ (depicted as pigs) are all still prevalent in mosques and other institutions in the UK that pretend outwardly to be ‘moderate’ and against such things. Even Ed Husain, in his recent and very interesting book, The Islamist admits that the Sufi version of Islam which he now adheres to, and which is the nearest I am aware of to a ‘moderate’ Islam, is still influenced in its social and political ideas by hardline Arab, anti-Zionist, anti-American and anti-Western elements. It seems to me that Mr. Williams and other ‘moderate’ Muslims are ‘in denial’ about this – as long as they themselves are peaceable and they associate with others who see Islam as ‘the religion of peace’ they fail to see how the majority of Muslims come across to the British public as a whole – as exclusive, separatist, intolerant, arrogant and obsessed with their own perceived grievances. In fact I would seriously doubt if Islam has ever been a ‘religion of peace’ except for Muslims (and not always even for them) – the concepts of ‘kuffar’, ‘hindi’, ‘dhimmi’ etc. demonstrate pretty conclusively the racist and intolerant attitudes that prevail within ‘traditional’ Islam, which is the version that most Muslims seem to be influenced by at the moment. The increasing number of Muslims seen in British streets wearing ‘Islamic’ dress, including the women in black shrouds and full face masks, the whole neighbourhoods and even towns that are becoming exclusively Muslim, the arrogant demands for special treatment in every area of life and even the modification of British law to fit in with ‘Islamic’ concepts – all these things demonstrate to me at least that traditional Islam is far from peaceful, but increasingly loud and aggressive. Even the very beginnings of the faith were suffused with violence – I am sure you are aware that the first massacre of Jews by Muslims happened under the actual leadership of the Prophet. I am aware there are passages about peace and tolerance in the Koran, but I am not sure how they are squared with lines like ‘Kill the infidels where you find them’, and so on? No – I am not convinced.

As far as the actual religious content of Islam goes, I have no particular objection to it; people are entitled to their private religious beliefs – as long as they remain that – private. The problem with Islam, however, is that it does not separate religion from politics or any other part of life. If Muslims in Britain pursued their religion and conformed with the general norm in other ways, like most religious and ‘ethnic’ groups, there wouldn’t be a problem. But they don’t. Therefore it seems to me that Muslims in general are never going to fit in in this country, and frankly we would do well to stop the growth of Islam in the UK, and also if possible to encourage those Muslims who refuse to integrate to go and live in a Muslim country, where presumably they would feel more at home anyway, rather than creating seperatist ghettoes and threatening to replace British democracy and pluralism with an Islamic state and ‘shariah’ law. Therefore we should stop the creation of any more Islamic schools, ‘education’ and ‘cultural’ centres and any more mosques; we should ban by law extreme forms of so-called ‘Islamic’ dress like the ‘veil’ and also barbaric practices like ‘halal’ slaughter. Those Muslims who genuinely are concerned with religious belief rather than outward appearances could probably live with this. Those who associate their religion with Arabic dress, social customs and medieval attitudes would find it very uncomfortable, and hopefully leave. If necessary I see no reason why they should not be assisted financially to emigrate to a suitable Islamic country. We would then be left with a small minority of ‘modernising’ Muslims who would be able to integrate into British society like Hindus, Sikhs, Jews and many other groups have. The alternative is going to be steadily increasing numbers of Muslims becoming ever more demanding and separatist in their attitudes, leading to serious social conflict and eventually inevitable large-scale violence and bloody civil war in this country. According to the Ed Husain book, even a leading American imam, Imam Hanson, has said that Muslims who do not like the West should go and live in Muslim countries. There is nothing wrong with this sentiment, and in my opinion it is the only way we are going to avoid things getting very badly out of hand.

If there is a ‘conflagration’, it was not started by me or by the majority, white, ‘Anglo-Celtic, more-or-less Christian community of this country; it was started by the influx of militant, belligerent and intolerant Muslims who pursue a separatist, exclusive and inflexible form of Islam which is incompatible with liberal democracy. The only way to deal with this ‘conflagration’ is not to try to pretend it isn’t happening, but for people to be honest about the cause, and about the obvious solution, which is to reduce the number of Muslims coming into and living in the UK, for the good of all. Large-scale Islam has no place in Britain, and the sooner we realise it, the better. The battle that ‘England’ )you mean Britain) fought in the 1940’s was to preserve democracy and decency against barbarism and intolerance. If we don’t act on the growth of Islam in the UK soon, we will be fighting that battle again – on our own soil; in fact in the form of the war on terrorism, we are fighting it already.

Time to discriminate

July 3, 2007

OK, I’m going to be fairly blunt here. All the suspects for the recent attempted car-bombings in Britain are foreign Muslims, recently arrived mostly from Iraq, as I understand. By a curious coincidence the man convicted of a particularly nasty murder of a young black guy in London was a recent Muslim immigrant from Somalia. These two examples alone, let alone others, seem to me to demonstrate something quite basic. By allowing the free entry of people from corrupt, brutal Islamic countries who have amply demonstrated their hatred us and their contempt for the tolerance our society is based on, we are simply importing potential or actual terrorists to attack us. Are we mad? In fact I would go further; since the Muslim ‘community’ in the UK so frequently demonstrates its lack of loyalty to this country and its desire to overthrow our democratic state and society, and since Islam, while calling itself  ‘the religion of peace’, is involved in the vast majority of violent conflicts in the world, I think it is time that we banned any further immigration at all from Muslim countries into Britain. If we don’t then we are effectively signing our own death warrant as a free society. Sorry if that’s non’PC’, but frankly I couldn’t care less. We need more discrimination, not less – we need to discriminate against people and beliefs that are a danger to our society. It’s as simple as that. If readers doubt me on this, take a look at this interesting website I found the other day:

Rot in Hell, Blair

June 29, 2007

What a strange week! I happened to be in London on Wednesday, around Westminster, and the place was like an ant-hill stirred with a stick – people scurrying around all excited simply because one obnoxious professional liar and conman had handed over the prime ministership to another professional conman and liar. The media overkill is a reminder of the completely unreal nature of modern British politics, where what things look like is more important than what they mean – if they mean anything, that is. As for the standing ovation given to Blair on his departure from the Commons – I despair! This was completely against all the traditions of the House; not even Churchill himself was given such a farewell – why in God’s name should that smarmy, self-satisfied, dishonest BASTARD Blair be given what Churchill was denied?! I’ll tell you why – because most people including politicians have no concept of what basic reality is any more; they are all living in some sort of TV soap opera; the ‘beloved’ Leader was departing, so according to the conventions of Americanised TV and films there *ought* to be a standing ovation – that’s what would happen in the movies – so that’s what they did. Even the bloody OPPOSITION did it, too! All those slimey little politico bastards, most of whom probably hate Blair and everyone else who’s more successful than themselves took part in a collective demonstration of the most gut-wrenchingly nauseating insincerity and arse-licking syncophancy, and probably felt really pleased with themselves afterwards. It’s the kind of thing that happened in Stalin’s Russia and Mao’s China – have we finally sunk that low in Britain, too? All it confirms to me is the deep sickness of this country and its political and social culture; what chance is there for any sort of honesty and sincerity on politics – I will go on supporting UKIP and the independence and sovereignty of the UK and its institutions, but what real hope is there, when we have reached this level of fraudulent hypocrisy and gesture politics? Parliament has become a soap opera, and politics a PR exercise masking the arbitrary manipulation of power. As for Blair – all I can say is, I hope the rest of his life is thoroughly miserable (in the company of that ghastly witch-hag, his wife, that seems fairly likely!)  and that he eventually rots in hell for ever, if there is such a place. I will always remember him as the person under whose aegis in ten years Britain ceased to be Britain and we lost the last vestiges of our ancient constitution and freedom forever.
